Beef and Cabbage Stir Fry

Quick and tasty, our Beef and Cabbage Stir Fry recipe is a great dish to prepare ahead of time and easily reheat as left overs. Cook up a double batch for the next day's lunch.

SERVES 1

(Single serve: one protein, one vegetable)

INGREDIENTS

  • 100 grams lean ground mince
  • 1 tablespoon onion, chopped
  • 1 cups green cabbage, chopped
  • 1 cup beef broth or water
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • Salt and Pepper

(Optional add in tin of crushed tomatoes instead of broth).

Serve with splash Franks Hot Sauce

METHOD

In a large frying pan, brown beef over medium high heat. Add the rest of ingredients and cook until cabbage is tender adding more water or broth as necessary. Cook down until no liquid is left. Serve hot.

Serve.
