WHAT DO I EAT ON THE SLIMTOX PLAN?

Our program is heavily influenced by a ketogenic diet. It’s no secret that a keto diet helps you lose weight quickly. However, there is more to a keto program than avoiding carbs and bread. Keto changes the way your body fuels itself. When you limit carbs, your body start to burn fat for energy instead of glucose. Your body goes into “ketosis” which is when your liver converts fatty acids into molecules called ketones.

The SLIMTOX program practices the same principles as a Ketogenic Diet Plan. When your body uses stored body fat and fat from your diet as fuel, the result is rapid weight loss. Ketones also influence hormones which control your appetite. Ketones suppress your hunger hormone named Ghrelin and includes cholecystokinin (CCK) which tells your brain that you have eaten enough.

When you eat too many carbs in your diet, your body converts these carbs into glucose (sugar), which can cause your blood sugar to spike. When you make the switch to using fats for energy, you stabilise your blood sugar. Another benefit is that your brain uses the ketones for fuel and you don’t experience the same energy slumps as you do when you’re eating carbs. On the SLIMTOX program, your metabolism is in fat-burning mode and your body can simply tap into its readily available fat stores for energy.

The SLIMTOX program will help your body to switch off inflammatory pathways and ketones produce fewer free radicals compared to glucose. Damage from too many free radicals can cause inflammation.
